Waterfalls, Moss, and Chill Forest Vibes at Río Cuervo

#summervacay Went exploring at Nacimiento del Río Cuervo in Vega del Codorno and it was such a peaceful little escape. It’s basically where the Cuervo River begins, and the whole area is this magical forest filled with waterfalls, mossy rocks, and wooden paths that are super easy to wander through. It kinda felt like walking into a fantasy movie set, green everywhere and the sound of water flowing nonstop. The waterfalls are the highlight for sure, especially after some rain. They just tumble over these moss-covered cliffs like nature’s version of a spa. Super chill, not a hard walk at all, and great for just taking it slow and enjoying the fresh air. It’s well-marked and family friendly, so no crazy hiking required. Plus, it’s not overcrowded, which is always a bonus. Definitely bring snacks and water, maybe even a little picnic if the weather’s nice. Such a good stop if you're anywhere near Cuenca. Nature was totally showing off here.
